
George Shamieh
Co-founder and C.E.O of American Cinema International
George Shamieh previously served as President and partner of the established mini studio PM Entertainment for thirteen years. During his time at PM he successfully guided the company to a dominant position within the global marketplace. PM produced and distributed original prime time product for numerous international TV clients and domestic cable networks, with the distinction of being one of the first suppliers of HBO World Premier Movies. The library of titles at PM boasted more than 150 feature films and two highly successful television series.
In 2000, George started American Cinema International and in less than three years, ACI produced 10 action/disaster films with international sales and domestic prime time broadcasts on USA, SyFy and HBO Premier. Among its successes, ACI has produced the highly-rated Jack Hunter trilogy, as well as the two-part miniseries The Search for El Dorado starring Shane West. In 2014 George produced the action-filled auto-racing film Born to Race: Fast Track starring Brett Davern, Beau Mirchoff, and Diogo Morgado.
George produced the successful Love Finds You series for Mission Pictures, starting with Love Finds you in Sugarcreek, which premiered on the UP Channel in June 2014 bringing in 2.2 million views, the channel’s strongest premiere in its history. Sugarcreek went on to win MovieGuide’s Epiphany Prize. With the follow up success of Love Finds You in Charm and delivering record breaking ratings for UP TV 2 years in a row, George produced a third film in the series, Love Finds You in Valentine.
To maintain his tradition and success with uplifting stories, he has created ACI INSPIRES with Chevonne O’Shaughnessy which is the newest brand of inspirational entertainment. George continue to produce for UP TV, Hallmark, and TV ONE.
